Clean Energy Engineering Services
DID YOU KNOW that in 2008, the US wind energy industry brought online over 8,500 MW of new wind power generating capacity, increasing the cumulative total by 50 percent to over 25,000 MW?
These wind turbine generators (WTG) will eventually mature and require maintenance services, as does all turbomachinery.
PAL is uniquely positioned to provide many of these field engineering services, including:
- technical training
- vibrational analysis
- borescope inspections (particularly of gear boxes and generators)
- PLC controls and start-up.
- The use of our Turbine Online Problem Solving (TOPS) service that will assist wind technicians who gather vibration data and inspect rotating elements and gearing “uptower,” to immediately communicate with experts back in our engineering offices
